Technology Alone Doesn’t Solve Organizational Challenges!

Saying that learning the fundamentals of corporate performance is the most important step for the success of the company, successful business person Metin Liçis started his speech by emphasizing his longing for the face-to-face interaction that technology takes from us.

Emphasizing the lack of organizational cohesion in the light of these new technological innovations, MEtin Liçis said that one of the problems faced by organizations is the lack of clarity of purpose and comfort and expertise in the what, where, when and why of the work. He added that it may also contribute to burnout. Stating that it is time to give meticulousness to the foundations of organizational life, the successful businessman said that organizations should explore cultural norms and practices that increase productivity.

The three basic building blocks of organized activity are: Teams, Meetings and Communication.

TEAMS

A conscious and harmonious team helps to get to the target faster and more smoothly.

MEETINGS

What is needed is to run meetings efficiently. Poorly run meetings drain energy and feed mediocrity.

COMMUNICATION

It is useful to follow the five steps necessary to make the greatest impact in communication.

  • Identifying the Center of Effort

Identifying activities that require employees to work collaboratively for business goals.

  • Starting with Small Things

Set an agenda and time limit for each meeting.

  • Equipping the People

Simplification is necessary for solution, not proficiency.

  • Exemplary Leadership

Allowing a younger staff to mentor.

  • Creating Feedback Loops

It is necessary to implement regular organizations to obtain meaningful feedback.
